Where a quotation includes installation, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that there are sufficient power sockets available for the equipment ordered along with laid communication cable where required. A wiring diagram can be supplied on request. If necessary, we can supply communication cable at a cost of £1.50 + VAT per metre.
If an engineer arrives to an installation where there is insufficient power or cabling, an additional charge may be made and a future installation date may be necessary.

Unless otherwise stated or agreed before ordering, the following guarantee periods will apply to purchases and repairs from the invoice date:

Guarantees do not cover wear and tear, damage caused by intent, accident, fire, liquid, mains power supply, misuse, neglect or parts and accessories not supplied by Premier Cash Registers Ltd.
Our responsibility under the guarantee ceases forthwith should the equipment be serviced, repaired or otherwise interfered with by any persons other than the manufacturer or an authorised representative of Premier Cash Registers Ltd.
In many cases, depending on location, touch-screens and other high end equipment are automatically supplied with an on-site guarantee.
All other guarantees/warranties are on a ‘return to base’ basis so please ensure you keep all original boxes and packaging.
It is the responsibility of the owner to organise the return of their equipment if a workshop repair is necessary and then to organise collection of their equipment once it has been repaired.
On the instructions of the owner, we can organise a courier to collect equipment from the owner’s premises. It is the owner’s responsibility to ensure the equipment is safely and securely packaged. All costs for the collection and subsequent return will be charged to the owner.
We will accept no responsibility or costs incurred for damage to equipment during transit.
In certain circumstances we will send a service engineer ‘free of charge’ to your premises. This will depend on the fault, type of equipment and your location.
The above information relates only to purchases and repairs. Rental equipment is fully maintained and supported for the term of the contract. For full terms and conditions of our rental contracts, please refer to the appropriate document in our ‘Downloads’ section.
Software is supplied without a guarantee of compatibility with your computer. It is your responsibility to manage the software which includes taking regular back-ups. We will not be held responsible for any data corruption or loss.
We are only a re-seller of software and therefore cannot be held responsible for any faults or deficiencies with the package provided. We will, however, offer our full support to help with any issues with regard to any software bugs, etc and act as mediator between our customer and the software developer. In the event that a developer should cease support on a previous version of software, we will continue to provide operational support for as long as we are able.
Telephone support is available during office hours (Monday to Friday 9am-5pm) for software licenses that we have supplied. If it is felt that the user requires additional training, a charge may be made. They will be informed of this before proceeding. Online support is charged at £1 + VAT per minute (minimum charge £25 + VAT).
There may be a charge if a licensed package is to be transferred from the computer it was originally installed onto.
Our major selling point is our customer service. If, for any reason, you are dissatisfied with our service, please contact us by phone, fax, email or post and we will attempt to respond to your complaint within 2 working days.
